BARC Ontario Centre exists to serve competitors and motorsports enthusiasts alike. We are committed to listening to racers to understand what will improve BARC race events and the sport as a whole, and we strive to represent the needs of racers as individuals and groups to CASC in order to improve the sport. We are committed to giving volunteer race officials the opportunity to learn race management skills of the highest level and to work as part of an enthusiastic team in organizing motorsport events. We are committed to being valued members of the motorports community in Ontario, showing respect for the other members of the community and working cooperatively with them for the good of motorsport as a whole.
BARC Ontario Centre was founded in 1959 by a group of motorsports enthusiasts in the Toronto area. The club is an incorporated not-for-profit organization. BARC-OC is one of the member clubs of the Canadian Automobile Sports Clubs Ontario Region (CASC-OR). CASC-OR is an umbrella organization of Ontario Automobile Clubs, who are interested in being members of the official motorsports body that is directly affiliated to the Federation Internationale de l' Automobiles operating from Paris, France.
